Calibration Certificates

UKAS certificates are accepted by many countries as being equivalent to their own national traceability system.
Provides a high level of confidence in the accuracy of the product.
Torque Measuring Instruments are now calibrated to BS7882:2008.

Traceable Certification for items outside the UKAS scope.
Torque calibration to 100,000 N.m (80,000 lbf.ft)

Traceable Calibration according to ISO6789:2003 clauses.
Included with all Norbar torque wrenches.
Complies with ISO 10012, for use in ISO 9000 quality systems.

Air Pressure Graph shows required air pressure vs torque.
Pressure and torque both measured on traceable equipment.

There has been an historic reluctance for certain nations to accept the accredited certifications of other bodies. Fortunately that situation has now improved with the compilation of a new database of Calibration Measurement Capabilities. This allows nations to compare the relative uncertainty of measurement and thus increase their confidence in accredited measurements carried out in other countries.
